Cabinet painting and refinishing for Rhode Island kitchens
Cabinet painting and refinishing can change the feel of a kitchen without tearing out a layout that already works. It is often far less expensive than replacement, but the finish only holds up when the prep, coating, and handling are done right.
DMP runs a dedicated spray shop for doors and drawers, with controlled prep and spraying instead of a rushed brush-and-roll job in the middle of your home.
What to expect
What it’s like to work with us
Four steps, no surprises, from the first hello to the final walkthrough.
A plan that works for you
We walk through the kitchen with you, talk color and finish options, and lay out exactly what to expect before we start.
Prep and protect
We degloss, clean, and repair, then mask off the space. On most projects we encapsulate the work area with plastic walls and run air scrubbers to cut down on smells (VOCs).
Finished in our spray shop
We take your doors and drawers back to our spray shop for a top-quality application in a controlled environment. Sprayed and brushed finishes are both available.
Reinstall and walkthrough
We reinstall everything, can update your pulls for a fully refreshed look, and walk the finished kitchen with you.
Ask about our spray shop
To deliver the best finish with the least mess, we can take your doors and drawers back to our spray shop and apply factory-quality finishes in a controlled environment. That keeps a big part of the work out of your home.
